Massal Selection Winery

The project involves the comprehensive renovation of a former commercial space into the new showroom and wine cellar for Massal Selection, a company founded by master of wine Álvaro Ribalta in Barcelona.

The project involved a complete renovation of the building, including the restoration of the facade, the replacement of flooring, and the functional reorganization of the interior spaces. One of the main objectives was to restore and highlight the building’s original architectural elements, particularly the Catalan vaults and existing wooden beams, which lend character and identity to the entire structure.

The project also included a comprehensive renovation of the service areas, including upgrades to the restroom, kitchenette, and office, adapting them to current usage and operational needs.

The selection of materials and finishes was based on criteria of quality, durability, and aesthetic consistency, with the goal of creating an elegant, authentic, and contemporary look. At the same time, construction costs were thoroughly optimized, making it possible to achieve a high standard of finishes within a tight budget.

The result is a space that combines tradition and modernity, reflecting Massal Selection’s philosophy and creating a warm, functional atmosphere that embodies wine culture.
